Nicci Collett
Nicci Collett owner and Principal of Fusion Dance School
Nicci trained at the Marden School of dance from the age of 8 before training at Burton and South Derbyshire College for 3 years and received her Diploma in Dance, she then returned to her dance school to train for her Associate Degree with the I.D.T.A.
Fusion Dance School was then born in 2008, Nicci always had a passion for performing but most of all inspiring others.
To expand her knowledge in dance and the business side she studied a Foundation Degree in Performing Arts at Staffordshire University for 2 years and then studied another year at Staffordshire University in Dance and Entrepreneurship where she graduated with a 1st BA Honours Degree.
Nicci has performed in 'The Stars' at The Royal Albert Hall, Showcase Stage at the World Skills UK Show, Clothes Show and Just Dance.
Nicci's Dream has always been to open her own dance studio, that dream finally came true in April 2017
​Nicci has recently passed her Licentiate Street dance qualification with Distinction.
Nicci specialises in Street dance and Fusion is now home to 3x British Champions and runner up British champions, Our crews train weekly and as a team we choreograph sets for FRIXION, NMI COLLECTIVE & G.O.D.
Olivia James
Olivia James trained as an Associate Street Dance teacher through the I.D.T.A and is also a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School.
Olivia loves to dance as she feels its a fun way to exercise and keep fit.
Dance gives her a chance to be creative and to challenge herself.
She loves working with children and she loves teaching children as it gives a chance to be creative.
Alex Hill
Alex Hill trained as an Associate Street Dance teacher through the I.D.T.A
Alex has been dancing since 2007, he was born to dance and is most happy when dancing, creating and training.
Alex runs his own open class and teaches our weekly classes, he also is co-choreographer of all crews and has a very unique style, we are very proud to have him as part of our team.
Alex is a freelance teacher in his spare time and can be available for workshops
Alex also competes solo and duos at competitions and has placed 1st place.
RICHARD DYKE
Twice winner of the prestigious Carl Alan Award and additionally a Le Classique de Danse award nominee.
Richard has won many British titles including European Competitive Freestyle Champion in 2000, champion in Freestyle solos, pairs and Rock & Roll. Richard retired on a high from competitive dance as number 1 adult boy and adult couple in the United Kingdom.
Richard is our Rhythmical gymnastics teacher, our class focuses on correct technique, we then follow on with the basics of gymnastics and advance the children depending on their level of ability.
LAURA MORSE
Laura is a dancer, teacher and choreographer, she is based in the midlands and also teaches at Base Studios in London.
Laura has danced for Ellie Goulding, Aston Merrygold, Jessie J and Darcey Bussell.
Laura teaches a weekly Commercial and Heels class for Fusion Dance School and holds workshops for our students.
JOVAN RUMBLE
Jovan Rumble is a break dancer and performer from Birmingham, he worked at Boodakid Music and Man Made Youth Company, he comes and holds break dance workshops and tricks/flips workshops with Fusion.
Evie Francis
Evie is a qualified Student Teacher at Fusion Dance School, she also competes apart of our advanced Crew G.O.D.
Evie teaches in our 4-7 year classes and also choreographs for our competition crews.
She also is apart of Alliance in Marshon
Her favourite style is Hip Hop and she enjoys learning new styles.
